Leah Foundation was inspired by Leah Sharibu and our mission is to promote freedom and empowerment.
We support & empower women who have been persecuted or displaced because of terrorism along with girls who have endured various forms of captivity and modern slavery.

LEADERSHIP
• Education: Scholarship opportunities for young women and girls.
• Masaada House: Transitional women's home for survivors of ongoing abuse

EMPOWERMENT
• Hope & Freedom Center: Counseling, discipleship, education & skills training.
• Sandy's Helpers: Empowering widows & women in animal husbandry and promote economic development.
• Literacy: Women improve reading & writing skills to be more independent & economically empowered.

ADVOCACY
• Being a voice for victims and persecuted women and girls,
• Religious Freedom: Advocating for religious freedom in Nigeria.
• Globally: We work in human rights forums in USA, UK, and Abuja.
• Sew Freedom Summit: Empowering Nigerian women to lead efforts in IRF/FORB.

HUMANITARIAN
• Cookstove Renovation: Using less fuel saving funds and improving environment.
• Substance abuse rehab programs.
• Trauma healing programs.
• Promoting gender-based violence awareness through humanitarian efforts.
